Environmental Day Celebration

BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION---IF YOU CAN'T REUSE IT, REFUSE IT

Each year World Environment Day is observed by the United Nations family and by communities across the globe to raise awareness about the importance of the environment in our lives. It is the time to reflect not just about the challenges we face, but on the many initiatives, small and large, that people are involved in the world to make sure that the world becomes a better, safer more equitable place for mankind.

We at The Indiranagar Cambridge School celebrated this World Environment Day with most sincerity and dedication. There was a special morning assembly conducted on the 5th of June 2018 to make the students realize how important it is to safe guard our nature to hand it over to our next generation. This year's theme "BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION" was explained to our students in such depth to ensure that they would ensure not to use any plastic material that cannot be re-used.

Our high school students took the responsibility to walk with placards' having different slogans on the use of plastic and the dangers faced by the world and the environment with the abundance of plastic waste. They also sang the "ENVIRONMENT SONG" which will be sung in our "INAUGURAL FUNCTION" of World Environment Day which India is hosting for the first time.

We at Indiranagar Cambridge School pledge to protect our environment in all possible ways.

"THE WAY TO TAKE CARE OF THE FUTURE IS TO WORK ON IT NOW"
